The Unforgettable Memory in National Museum in Daraga Albay

The permanent exhibition at the National Museum Bicol is entitled Bicolandia Land of Volcanoes and comprises four galleries. One of the galleries features some of the plant and animal species found in the Bicol region and around the country.The National Museum Bicol is a natural history museum where visitors can learn more about important natural sites and specimens.

The National Museum of the Philippines in Bicol is located at Busay , Daraga, Albay just next to the Cagsawa Church Ruins, a National Cultural Treasure . National Museum feature the unique geological landscapes of Bicol that will underscore the marvels of Mayon, as well as impart the endemicity of its flora and fauna. Outdoor exhibitions, botanical garden, butterfly sanctuary and observatory for stargazing are also envisioned to complete the museum facility for leisure and learning. Me and my co- tourism management classmates and friends went here in National Museum in Daraga Albay as part of our immersion itinerary, and National Museum is one of the places to visit and we witness how amazing and very unique the museum it was inside. The museum has various artefacts from the Harappan civilization, also known as the Indus Valley civilization.
